The Middle East series cover FOB Arab Gulf refined products (loadings from Gulf refineries and terminals), FOB Fujairah products and weekly stocks at the Fujairah hub outside the Strait of Hormuz, and FOB Middle East and Iran urea.

Basin Mechanics & Arbitrage Links

Arab Gulf and Fujairah quotes are separate loading areas for the same products; Fujairah stock series are weekly inventories, not prices; Middle East urea is quoted FOB Gulf plants with daily and weekly series kept apart.

  • Arab Gulf FOB refined products are loading-port values for cargoes from Gulf refineries; Fujairah FOB values are for cargoes at the Fujairah hub on the UAE east coast, outside the Strait of Hormuz.
  • Fujairah stock series are weekly inventories in thousand barrels, not prices.
  • Middle East urea series are FOB Gulf plant values; the “Non-US” weekly series excludes US-bound sales, and the daily and weekly Middle East series are separate histories.
