What This Indicator Measures

Daily FOB Singapore assessment of 95 RON unleaded gasoline cargoes in USD/bbl.

Gasoline (Mogas 92/95, Eurobob, 10 ppm): A physical price for motor gasoline. Asian series are quoted by research octane number (92 and 95 RON) in USD/bbl; European series are Eurobob blendstock barges (E5 and E10 ethanol grades) and finished 10 ppm gasoline cargoes in USD/mt.

What the source does not state for this series

  • Sulphur, RVP and other gasoline properties of the assessed grade are not printed in the loaded table.

Specification · stated by the source for this series

  • 95 = research octane number (RON), from the series name.
  • 92 and 95 refer to research octane number (RON).
  • Eurobob is an oxygenate-free blendstock intended for ethanol blending; E5 and E10 designate the target ethanol share of the finished grade.
  • European road gasoline is limited to 10 mg/kg sulphur by the EU Fuel Quality Directive.

Basis: FOB Singapore

  • FOB (free on board): the price covers the product loaded on the vessel at the named origin; sea freight and insurance to the destination are excluded, so FOB values from different loading areas are not delivered-cost equivalents.
  • Singapore is a port and storage hub at the southern tip of the Malay Peninsula; Asian refined-product cargoes are commonly priced against Singapore loadings.

Unit: USD/bbl

  • USD/bbl values (Singapore, Arab Gulf, Fujairah) and USD/mt values (Europe, Japan naphtha) cannot be compared without a product-specific density conversion; the site does not convert them.
  • Published assessments are a low–high range with a midpoint; charts and monthly statistics use the midpoint only.

What This FOB Singapore Price Represents

This page tracks the daily gasoline 95 on a FOB Singapore basis, quoted in USD/bbl. Figures are CommodityScope Indicators synthesized from loaded market editions. They are not a live quote and not a republication of a price-reporting agency table.

How to use this series

  • Track gasoline values by grade and region; the 92/95 spread and the E5/E10 spread are octane and blending differentials.

What it is not suitable for

  • Retail pump prices.
  • Treating Eurobob blendstock and finished gasoline as one product.

Compare With

Each comparison states why the series are related and whether the latest values can be subtracted directly (same unit, currency and assessment date). Where they cannot, the values are shown side by side without a difference.
